MIEKO AND FIFTH TREASURE : Opinion & Author

OPINION
The book is interesting because it talks about a historical event from the perspective of someone who went through it.
Despite losing her most precious talent, Mieko, the girl in the book, is able to see everything in a different way and overcome the bad comments of her new classmates.
My favorite character was Mieko's grandfather, his wisdom and patience to help Mieko is very beautiful and the beauty is that in the end Mieko regains the ability to return to traditional calligraphy.
In spite of being a children's book, the teaching and beauty of another culture are captured.
