SUMMARY

In the New York marathon, an Ethiopian woman with several years out of the marathons and with a possible death decides to continue her race for these 8 km that conforms it, but, although inside the same one there was a strong opponent, this one was able to show some compassion even being at the top of the race.
Also in this video, McDougall talks about a Mexican tribe that has lived in the shadows for years, but they don't know about modern ailments and live free and healthy, but most importantly what does this have to do with the title? Simple, running, our freedom; in evolution, we are the only beings that "sweat" better than other species and it is something beneficial, our roots are in hunting in groups and our capacity of resistance is superior to that of other animals, along with that the ability to keep the group together when hunting.
It's not that he is induced to live in this way, it's more like going back to the roots, running without expensive sneakers and strengthening our body, feeling running again, getting rid of the current evils and living healthy.

 COMMENT

The video is amazing, it exposes themes that we leave aside, like our own nature and what we are, not everyone can talk this way, what made me more curious is the capacity of the tribe, it travels more than 100 to 120 km per day!
It shows the true power of the body, they do not get sick, they do not know the numerous list of current sufferings and worries, they have a prosperous and long-lived life and it is something incredible, along with this, it exposes us the ability to run in the established and civilized man, technology or even less medicine will be able to compare the capacity and complexity of the human body, that is why it is essential to run, it is what we are and what we will be, the habit has been lost, but we know.
